More trees and nest boxes for Hall Close

On a cold winter day we had a hardy turnout to plant some holly trees in the central copse and some basket willows by the river. We hope the holly will give some more cover for birds etc and provide another layer in the copse. The willow will be cut each year and hopefully be used by the community for making garden willow structures. They were given to us by Sue Kirk a professional basket maker from Kings Cliffe.

We also added more bat boxes and bird nest boxes to the trees alongside the river.
