Churchyard
We have surveyed the flora in the churchyard and plan to survey the insects like mining bees next summer. We are also preparing a management plan for the churchyard which is managed by Ketton Parish Council.
The flora of wild flowers and trees has been surveyed in 2021. We found over 50 flowering plants as well as a wonderful spreading box tree and some magnificent old yew trees. A section of the grassland has been left to flower in the summer revealing some of the typical flowering plants.
Do walk round the churchyard to also view the beautiful carved limestone tombstones in this peaceful haven.
